VNA-Community Services and Aging at Home were proud to sponsor (along with Briar Bush Nature Center) Penn State Abington’s ‘Environmental Forum. Among the distinguished panelists represented at this vital climate discussion were: Congressman Brendan Boyle, State Representative Kate Harper, State Representative Madeleine Dean and Penn Environment’s Adam Garber.

The Sutherland Auditorium was packed with citizens from all counties of Pennsylvania. After initial comments were made by the five panelists, there was a question and answer period. Both the speakers and guests were very concerned with the perception of the current administration about the direction that climate change is headed. The panelists urged that the citizens of Pennsylvania should voice their concerns and opinions by contacting their state and local representatives. In this way, elected officials could bring back their consensus to Washington regarding the future of the environment in Pennsylvania.

Thank you Briar Bush Nature Center for a very informative and enlightened evening.
